Overview
Provide managed-OAuth access to the full Google Forms REST API via a Maton gateway, allowing agents to create/update forms and read responses using simple HTTP calls.
Key Advantages
1.Managed OAuth flow handled by Maton, avoiding manual token management inside the agent environment.
2.Transparent proxy to forms.googleapis.com, so nearly the entire Google Forms API surface is available.
3.Clear authentication model using a single MATON_API_KEY environment variable.
4.Support for multiple Google accounts via Maton-Connection header selection.
5.Good reference examples for common operations (create form, batchUpdate questions, list/get responses).
Use Cases
- Automated creation of surveys, feedback forms, and registration forms from within an agent workflow.
- Dynamically modifying existing forms (adding questions, changing scales) in response to business logic or user instructions.
- Retrieving form responses for analytics, reporting, or feeding into downstream systems (e.g., CRM, ticketing, or BI tools).
- Building support or operations agents that can spin up tailored forms for specific customers or incidents and track responses.
- Quality assurance or research workflows that periodically export Google Forms data for further processing.

**Assessment:** Strong, well-scoped integration for Google Forms with broad API coverage and managed OAuth. Technically capable and reasonably easy to use for agents that can construct HTTP requests and JSON payloads.
**Key strengths:**
- Exposes almost the full Google Forms API via a stable, documented gateway.
- Handles OAuth and connection management outside the agent, simplifying authentication.
- Includes concrete examples for core workflows (create form, add questions, list/get responses) and troubleshooting guidance.
**Main risks / limitations:**
- Access to potentially sensitive form responses and the ability to modify live forms; requires careful key management and strict access control on MATON_API_KEY.
- Relies on a third-party gateway (Maton) for both OAuth and API proxying, adding an external dependency and potential single point of failure.
- BatchUpdate and complex question structures mirror the raw Google Forms API, which can be error-prone for non-expert agents if not carefully validated.
**Recommended scenarios:**
- Agents that need to programmatically create and manage surveys or forms within Google Workspace environments.
- Workflows that periodically pull structured response data from Google Forms into other systems.
- Automation where human operators are comfortable granting and managing Google OAuth connections through Maton, and where the organization accepts Maton as an intermediary for Google Forms data.
