Overview
Integrate with the My Life Feed REST API to create scheduled “things” (events/reminders) and invite friends or groups, as well as list groups to retrieve their IDs.
Key Advantages
1.Direct control over My Life Feed account via simple HTTP/JSON requests
2.Supports both individual (phone-number based) and group-based invitations
3.Allows configuring multiple pre-event reminders with flexible time units (minutes/hours/days/weeks/months)
4.Clear curl-based examples for common operations (create thing, list groups, invite friend/group)
5.Environment-variable based API key configuration for basic secret management
Use Cases
- Scheduling an event and automatically inviting a friend by phone number, with one or more reminder alarms
- Creating shared group events by using group_id obtained from the user’s My Life Feed groups list
- Building a personal assistant workflow that adds future-dated reminders with customized lead times
- Querying user’s My Life Feed groups to find a group by name substring (e.g., groups containing “friends”)
- Automating routine social or group reminders (e.g., recurring meetups) where each new instance is created as a new “thing” with alarms

**Judgement:** Useful but narrow integration for managing My Life Feed events (“things”) and invitations. Best suited to assistants that need to schedule simple, future-dated reminders for individuals (via phone number) or groups.
**What it does well:**
- Creates “things” with configurable reminder alarms and invites either a group or individual friends.
- Lists groups and surfaces group_id, enabling group-based scheduling.
- Simple HTTP/JSON contract with clear curl examples, easy for an agent to adopt.
**Limitations / gaps:**
- Functionality is limited to `create_thing` and `get_groups`; no explicit support for editing, deleting, or listing existing things.
- Requires correct epoch-millisecond timestamps and careful phone number formatting (country code + number, no `+`).
- Rate limit is low (3 requests per 10 seconds per API key), which constrains high-frequency workflows.
**Risks and safety considerations:**
- API key grants full access to the user’s My Life Feed account; leakage or mishandling could expose or modify all of the user’s data. Keys must be stored securely and never logged or echoed in outputs.
- Phone numbers for friends are highly sensitive personal data; agents must avoid storing, logging, or reusing them beyond the current task and should honor any user consent or data-handling policies.
- The skill can be used to send unexpected invitations or reminders to others; assistants should confirm intent and recipients with the user before creating or sending invites.
**Recommended scenarios:**
- Personal assistant flows where a user explicitly asks to create a one-off future event (with reminders) for themselves or a specific friend/group.
- Agent workflows that periodically list groups, match by name pattern (e.g., containing “friends”), and then set up a group reminder.
- Low-volume, user-driven automation rather than bulk operations, due to both rate limits and the sensitivity of invitations and contact data.
